Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our CPD team, supporting procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mechanical equipment sourcing, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination with engineering and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

RFQ Preparation & Evaluation: Develop and assess Request for Quotations for mechanical equipment and packages.
Vendor Management: Conduct vendor prequalification, manage relationships, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Equipment Sourcing: Source mechanical components such as pumps, valves, piping systems, and other related equipment.
Cost Estimation & Negotiation: Prepare detailed cost estimates and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers.
Contract Finalization: Support the drafting and finalization of purchase orders and contracts.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to align procurement with technical requirements.
Global Sourcing & Logistics: Manage international procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to IEC/IS standards and project-specific technical specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical procurement within EPC or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of technical specifications and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with international standards and sourcing practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel or relocate to KSA as required.
