We are hiring for our client a leading high-precision engineering Manufacturing for a position

Position: Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling or Components Aerospace industry mandatory)

Job Type : Permanent

Experience: 6+ years

Qualification:

Work Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from design feasibility to production readiness.
• Develop and implement process plans, machining strategies, and tooling solutions for precision components.
• Conduct part and process prove-outs, ensuring performance meets quality and dimensional standards.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and improve cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with design and method engineering teams for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and design optimization.
• Lead the skimming process and other critical machining techniques for high-precision parts.
• Prepare and validate NC programs using CAM software, ensuring seamless integration with production equipment.
• Develop and maintain 2D drafting and 3D modeling for manufacturing documentation and jig/fixture design.
• Provide technical support for machining operations, troubleshoot issues on the shop floor, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Support CAPA, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving initiatives related to machining and manufacturing.
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on machining components.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC machining, and precision engineering.
• Proficiency in process planning, method engineering, and part prove-out.
• Hands-on experience with:
• CAD (2D & 3D)
• CAM Programming
• SolidWorks
• CATIA
