Senior Manager/AGM - MEP (Avighna Group)

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

• Develop and implement MEP strategies and plans for construction projects.
• Coordinate with other departments, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
• Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.

2. Design Oversight:

• Review and approve MEP design drawings and specifications.
• Review plans and specifications according to the approved plans.
• Prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage budgets for MEP projects.
• Monitor costs, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control measures for MEP systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

5. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and challenges related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyse mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
• Work to minimize project delays and cost overruns.

6. Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Select and manage relationships with MEP contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

7. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that MEP systems comply with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for MEP construction activities.

8. Technology Integration:

• Stay abreast of advancements in MEP technology and recommend innovative solutions.
• Integrate smart building technologies for enhanced efficiency and sustainability.

9. Client Relations:

• Interface with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Provide updates and reports on the progress of MEP projects.

10. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of MEP project activities, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same

11. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency:

• Promote and implement sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions.
• Stay informed about green building practices and certifications.
