Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee end-to-end MEP operations across multiple school campuses.
  
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
  
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  
• Monitor and maintain AMC services for equipment and systems.
  

2. Project Planning & Execution

• Coordinate and supervise MEP works in new building blocks, renovations, and expansions.
  
• Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and ensure compliance with standards.
  
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all campuses meet statutory norms for electrical safety, fire safety, PWD norms, and environmental standards.
  
• Organize safety drills, equipment certification, and documentation as required by authorities.
  

4. Vendor & Resource Management

• Evaluate and finalize MEP vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  
• Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment related to MEP.
  
• Optimize budget, reduce operational costs, and ensure transparency.
  

5. Team Management

• Lead and supervise a team of electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance staff.
  
• Conduct training sessions on safety, equipment operation, and emergency handling.
  

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular reports on MEP performance, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and budgets.
  
• Maintain documentation for audits, compliance, and management review.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Systems, HVAC, Pumps, Generators, Transformers, and Fire Safety.
  
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
  
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  
• Strong vendor negotiation and coordination abilities.
  
• Good communication, documentation, and project management skills.
  
• Ability to travel between campuses (4-wheeler mandatory).
