MEPF Head

• Prepare complete MEPF project estimates, BOQs, cost sheets, and rate analysis.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with vendors for material rates and technical inputs.
• Finalize budgets and provide value-engineering recommendations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

B. Design & Engineering

• Lead MEPF design development including schematic drawings, detailed drawings, and shop drawings.
• Approve all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting system designs.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural teams, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes:

  NBC, IS standards, NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE, IPC

  .
• Review load calculations, HVAC heat load, electrical single line diagrams (SLD), pump sizing, pipe sizing, fire system design, etc.

C. Project Execution & Supervision

• Oversee site execution and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Resolve technical issues raised at the site.
• Ensure timely completion of MEPF works as per project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Approve material submissions and monitor consumption to avoid wastage.

D. Vendor, Contractor & Client Management

• Identify, evaluate, and appoint contractors for MEPF works.
• Verify contractor as technical capability, manpower, and execution performance.
• Coordinate with clients for approvals, progress reviews, and handovers.
• Approve contractor bills after site verification.

E. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare weekly MIS reports, DPR, material tracking, and progress documentation.
• Maintain proper design files, approval documents, and project records.
• Ensure all statutory approvals for electrical panels, transformers, fire NOC, etc.

F. Team Leadership

• Lead the MEPF design team, estimation team, and project team.
• Conduct technical training for junior engineers.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely task completion.

3. Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  (mandatory)

• M.E./M.Tech in relevant engineering

  (preferred but not compulsory)
• Additional certifications are an advantage:
• HVAC Design Certification
• Electrical Safety Certification
• Fire & Safety Engineering Course
• MEP Design Master Course
• AutoCAD / Revit / BIM Certification

Experience

• 12 to 20 years of experience

  in MEPF industry.
• Must have hands-on experience in:

• Estimation & Tendering

• Complete MEPF Design

• Execution of High-Rise, Commercial, Industrial or Real Estate Projects

• Client, Consultant & Contractor Coordination

• Should be capable of independently handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• HVAC Systems
• Electrical Panels, Transformers, LT/HT systems
• Plumbing, STP, WTP
• Firefighting , Hydrant, Sprinkler, Detection & Suppression
• Expertise in design tools:
• AutoCAD
• Revit / BIM (preferred)
• MS Office (Excel, Projects)
• Strong understanding of Indian and International Codes.
