Senior Manager - Transport Operations

Role Overview:

The Transport Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of employee transportation operations across multiple client locations. The role involves planning, execution, real-time monitoring, people management, vendor coordination, client communication, and ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient commute experience for employees.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Operations Oversight
Provide strategic oversight for end-to-end transport operations, ensuring seamless routing, scheduling, and service execution.

2. Client Relationship & SLA Governance
Lead client engagement and ensure SLA adherence through proactive communication, service reviews, and escalation management.

3. Leadership & Team Management
Guide and manage supervisors, helpdesk staff, and drivers, ensuring high performance, discipline, and operational readiness.

4. Fleet & Vendor Management
Oversee vendor coordination and ensure the fleet meets all compliance, safety, and operational standards.

5. Real-Time Operations Control
Supervise real-time transport control, ensuring quick decision-making and issue resolution during peak and critical shift movements.

6. Reporting, Review & Documentation
Review and validate all MIS, trip data, and operational reports, ensuring accuracy for billing and performance audits.

7. Safety, Compliance & Governance
Uphold safety protocols, enforce compliance, and drive corrective actions through regular audits and incident reviews.

8. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Drive operational enhancements, cost optimisation, and digital transformation to improve efficiency and service quality.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of employee transportation operations in Bangalore.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Quick decision-making and crisis-handling ability.
• Good knowledge of routing tools and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage large teams across multiple client sites.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and client-first attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
