                                Job Summary  As the Senior Manager - Training (Medical Coding) at Omega Healthcare Management Services Private Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in leading and enhancing the technical competencies of medical coders. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing training programs aligned with industry standards and client requirements, with a focus on developing high-performing coding teams through onboarding, upskilling, and quality enhancement initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor a team of trainers and collaborate closely with operations, quality, and HR departments.  Key Responsibilities  Training Strategy & Planning - Develop and execute the technical training strategy for medical coding teams, specifically IPDRG coding. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct training needs assessments. - Create comprehensive training roadmaps for both new hires and existing employees on an annual and quarterly basis.  Program Development & Delivery - Update and create training content, manuals, and e-learning modules based on current CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines. - Oversee the delivery of various training programs such as new hire training, refresher training, cross-training, and certification preparation. - Utilize training tools, simulations, and assessments to evaluate knowledge retention effectively.  Team Leadership & Development - Lead a team of technical trainers and senior trainers, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback. - Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to enhance internal capabilities and develop trainer leadership skills. - Align training key performance indicators (KPIs) with business goals and continuously monitor trainer effectiveness.  Quality & Compliance - Work closely with the Quality and Compliance teams to address audit findings, quality trends, and training based on root cause analysis. - Assist coders in obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).  Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with operations, client services, quality assurance, and HR departments to drive productivity and accuracy improvements through training initiatives. - Present regular reports on training metrics, effectiveness, and Return on Investment (ROI) to senior leadership. - Develop customized training plans for new projects or client accounts to support transitions and ramp-ups effectively.  Requirements - Education: Any graduate with mandatory certification in CPC, CCS, or equivalent. - Experience: Minimum 13 years in medical coding, including at least 5 years in training leadership roles, with exposure to IPDRG coding. - Skills: Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines, strong instructional design and facilitation skills, experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools, ability to analyze training impact using quality and productivity metrics.
