Senior Manager, T&O FFG Finance

Role Overview: As a Cost Analytics lead within the Finance Shared Services Centre (GFS) at Standard Chartered Bank, you will be responsible for driving the growth and strategic development of the Cost Analytics portfolio. Your role will involve overseeing and providing management direction for all Cost Analytics processes, maintaining high quality service delivery standards, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive improvements in cost management processes. You will also be required to lead the team in developing a strategic roadmap for the Cost Center of Excellence, engaging in external benchmarking, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements within the end-to-end process of Cost Management. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the assigned business unit or corporate function. - Ensure quality and timeliness of monthly reporting and closing activities. - Prepare financial information accurately and timely for management decision-making. - Analyze key performance indicators, monitor performance trends, and identify causes of variance. - Support forecasting, budgeting exercises, and cost benefit analysis for new business cases. - Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and provide ad-hoc analysis for the Senior Head of Business Tech. - Collaborate with Business Tech CFO to formulate digitalization strategies and initiatives. - Define digital initiatives, implement digital solutions, and deliver expected business outcomes. - Provide technical direction, feedback, and mentorship to local and offshore teams. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Advanced Degree (Masters) and/or Professional Accreditation (CPA, CMA) is a plus. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in an MNC. - Strong analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to understand and connect business drivers to cost management processes. - Excellent financial awareness and analytical abilities. - Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English. - Proficiency in Advanced Power Point and Excel skills.
