Job Description

The Senior Manager- Sales will play a critical role in achieving revenue targets and executing the sales strategy for the Indian automotive market. This role involves developing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring seamless sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within the automotive and insurance industry, with expertise in services such as roadside assistance, warranty service contracts, and other service-oriented products.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving revenue targets for the Indian market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, demos, and bids; negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with officers of existing and new clients.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with clients, understand their needs, and develop opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Support the Associate Director in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Keep getting the customer's voice and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee sales operations, client onboarding, and act as a bridge between clients and operations.
  • Prepare and manage revenue forecasts for allocated lines of business.
  • Daily level monitoring of KPIs and periodic reports on business KPIs and client-level metrics.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales within the automotive industry, specifically selling extended warranties, roadside assistance, and annual maintenance contracts.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive market and automotive insurance in India.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work cohesively with different teams on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in creating custom client presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lead the deployment of sales CRM platforms.
