MINIMUN EXPERIENCE: 7-8 YRS

JD:

1. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the hospital’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with NABH accreditation standards.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (MOHFW, pollution board, AERB, etc.).
  • Regularly review and update hospital policies, SOPs, and clinical protocols.

2. Audits & Assessments

  • Plan and execute internal quality audits across departments.
  • Coordinate external audits for certifications (e.g., NABH, ISO, NABL).
  • Identify non-conformities, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Patient Safety & Risk Management

  • Lead incident reporting, sentinel event analysis, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve key patient safety indicators (e.g., medication errors, HAIs, falls).
  • Organize regular mortality and morbidity reviews with clinical teams.

4. Data Monitoring & Quality Indicators

  • Develop and track Quality Indicators (QIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., infection rate, readmission rate).
  • Present monthly/quarterly quality dashboards to management and clinical committees.

5. Training & Capacity Building

  • Organize training sessions on quality standards, infection control, patient safety, and incident reporting.
  • Guide department quality champions and quality coordinators.
  • Conduct mock drills (e.g., code blue, fire safety).

6. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with clinical and non-clinical departments to drive a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and support services for interdisciplinary quality goals.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Ensure proper documentation of quality records, audits, committee minutes, and reports.
  • Prepare reports for hospital management, accreditation bodies, and statutory authorities.

8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead quality improvement projects using Six Sigma, PDSA cycles, or Lean methodology.
  • Promote a culture of feedback, transparency, and learning across the hospital.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or Quality Management
  • Certification in NABH/JCI/Internal Auditor preferred
  • 7–10 years of experience in hospital quality management
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
