Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – Biscuit Operations with deep expertise in biscuit manufacturing within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have full-spectrum operational experience in biscuit plants and will take charge of leading all plant activities, ensuring production excellence, quality compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all functional areas of biscuit manufacturing operations — production, quality, maintenance, EHS, dispatch, and supply chain.
• Drive production efficiency to meet volume, cost, and quality targets.
• Manage plant operations on-ground with regular visits, performance tracking, and problem resolution.
• Implement best practices in biscuit production, process optimization, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, FSSAI norms, GMP, EHS, and all statutory/legal requirements.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to uphold product quality and manage non-conformance handling.
• Plan and manage manpower deployment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely RM/PM availability and inventory control.
• Manage operational budgets and control plant expenses.
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and monitor KPIs regularly.
• Present regular MIS reports and performance updates to top management.

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
• Experience:
• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG, specifically in biscuit manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in managing all plant operations in biscuit factories.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple functions.
• Sound knowledge of biscuit production technologies, plant machinery, quality systems, and maintenance protocols.
• Experience in handling audits (FSSAI, ISO, etc.), safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and spend time at plant locations as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
