OVERVIEW:

As a critical member of the University’s growth team, the Senior Manager of Marketing Automation is responsible for overseeing and executing strategic campaigns and automation programs through Marketo including email, SMS, website personalization, and custom landing pages. Leading a team of 2 direct reports, you will:

  • Create and monitor Marketo-based campaigns including lifecycle, trigger, and nurture workflows supported by email and SMS channels.
  • Build dynamic segmentation and personalization strategies using tokens, forms, smart lists, and Real-Time Personalization (RTP) to sync campaigns with CRM and website usage. Create and maintain templates.
  • Analyze and report on performance. Create dashboards to track important metrics. Improve segmentation and results.
  • Collaborate across teams - Content, BI, Admissions, Tech - to deliver campaigns.
  • Document workflows and best practices; support and mentor automation team.
  • Integrate 3rd party marketing tools as necessary.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10+ years experience managing email campaigns, including 3+ years with advanced Marketo knowledge
  • Fluent in English
  • University degree
  • Management experience
  • Proficient with HTML, CSS, and Excel
  • Data driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and team player
  • Ability to work/be available for meetings during core hours of the university, 8 AM -12 PM EST timezone.
