Senior Manager – MEP Design and Operations (Luxury Villa Real Estate Sector)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• A minimum of 10+ proven experience in MEP design and project management, preferably in luxury real estate.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices applicable to the real estate sector in Mumbai.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive collaborative efforts across various disciplines.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Manager responsible for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and operations in the luxury villa real estate sector of Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of high-end residential projects. This leadership position demands an individual with extensive technical expertise, exceptional managerial skills, and a keen understanding of commercial dynamics to deliver luxury living experiences that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

Lead the strategic direction of MEP design for high-end villa projects.

Ensure seamless integration of HVAC, electrical, firefighting, and plumbing systems with architectural and structural plans.

Review and approve designs from external consultants, ensuring they adhere to international standards and local building codes.

Project Execution:

Oversee the comprehensive execution of MEP installations from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Foster close collaboration among architects, interior designers, structural engineers, and on-site teams to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.

Operations Management:

Implement rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols for all MEP activities.

Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards and ensure the highest levels of workmanship in line with luxury specifications.

Budget and Resource Management:

Develop and monitor detailed project budgets, identifying cost-effective solutions while managing procurement schedules efficiently.

Supervise the internal MEP team and coordinate effectively with external contractors and suppliers to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.

Sustainable Solutions:

Advocate for the integration of sustainable and energy-efficient practices within MEP systems, responding to the increasing demand for environmentally friendly luxury developments.

Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and navigate the acquisition of necessary permits and clearances.

Technical Proficiency:

Employ advanced knowledge in MEP design software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP, ensuring that technical processes align with best practices in the industry.

Leverage strong stakeholder management and communication skills to articulate project goals and progress to all relevant parties.
