1. Overview

Senior Manager,Hubspot/Salesforce

2. Key Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to be a crucial member of the Marketing Team to enable it to meet its primary role of shaping and elevating the ‘Brand IIT Madras’ to global standards among alumni, corporates, potential donors, and the broader community, inspiring meaningful engagement and philanthropic support.

Specifically, the role encompasses the following

  • Convert the requirements from the Head of Marketing to help build the

    best campaigns

    suitable for alumni, corporates and other ‘audience’,

    using cross channel

    (websites, email, social media).
  • Interact with campaign managers

    to understand the end goals and campaigns’ strategy.
  • Develop

    automated campaigns

    using Hubspot/Salesforce (or other CRM platforms), and

    track reports

    helpful for campaign/fund-raising managers to

    analyze the campaign effectiveness

    .
  • Suggest best practices

    across platforms and assisting the Campaign Managers/Sales teams to meet their targets.
  • Manage email and mobile marketing

    development, deployment, and reporting.
  • Track campaign metrics

    including sends, clicks through rates and other measures using tools such as Google Analytics, Exacttarget, etc.
  • Analyze dashboards in the Marketing Cloud

    to monitor accounts and other data.
  • Process incoming social media content

    for efficient follow up and automate it to reduce manual handling of social media content.
  • Social Media Automation to nurture leads.
  • Creating dynamic mailers

    for mass-email sends.


2. Qualifications and Experience

  • An

    Undergraduate or Postgraduate in Engineering

    or

    Computer Applications

    .
  • Professional Certifications

    as a specialist in

    Marketing Cloud

    ,

    Email specialist

    ,

    Digital Marketing

    .

Technical Skills

  •  Marketing Cloud: Email studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Automation studio, Social Studio, Data Cloud etc.
  • Marketing Tools: HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEMrush, FB Ad Manager, Google AdWords etc.
  • Front end technology such as HTML, SQL, CSS, AMP SCRIPT, etc.

Experience

At least 5+ years of experience in: -

  • Campaign management
  • Email Marketing Automation
  • CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) implementation
  • Working closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to meet targets
