As a Sr. Manager Business Development, your role will involve spearheading high-impact initiatives to drive revenue growth and strategic partnerships. Your proactive leadership, strong market understanding, and consultative selling skills will be crucial in shaping the business's growth trajectory. Here's what you can expect in this role: Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives. - Identify new market opportunities, potential clients, and revenue streams. - Lead opportunity assessments, market segmentation, and competitive benchmarking. - Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure, achieving revenue targets. - Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools. - Forge strategic partnerships and alliances, negotiating key commercial agreements. - Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensuring long-term relationship growth. - Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and provide strategic recommendations. - Lead proposal development, presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Mentor junior team members, collaborate with other departments, and represent BD in internal meetings. - Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development or strategic partnerships. - Track record of exceeding sales targets and experience in B2B enterprise sales. - Industry experience in [Insert Industry e.g., SaaS, Consulting, Manufacturing] is a plus. - Strong financial acumen, deal structuring experience, and proficiency in CRM tools and Excel.
