Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Manager – Accounts at Zuari Global Trading LLP in Goa, India. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounts, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. They will also manage the accounts team, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements to management.
  • Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Conduct project-specific financial planning and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Timely filing of statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
  • Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance.
  • Manage financial aspects of property transactions, including registration charges and stamp duties.
  • Evaluate project costs and liaise with project teams for cost-effective execution.
  • Oversee financial documentation for property acquisitions, sales, and leases.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize discrepancies.
  • Perform financial risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide financial insights to support investment decisions and project financing.
  • Assist in securing project funding and negotiate terms with financial institutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.



Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of taxation, real estate accounting, and regulatory compliance.
