Job Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in the accounting package as per IGAAP and Ind AS.
  • Ensure timely closure of books and monthly financial closing activities.
  • Perform ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow along with working papers and schedules.
  • Maintain proper record-keeping for all accounting transactions.
  • Support in Monthly MIS preparation and reporting.
  • Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and submission of return filings for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.
  • Handle periodic reporting requirements of the parent entity.
  • Reconcile books vs statutory returns on a regular basis.
  • Manage payroll and staff-related statutory compliances.
  • Process staff payments, sundry advances, reimbursements, and travel bills.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of bank and office imprest accounts.
  • Support implementation of internal controls and new financial processes.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management and support in investor reporting.
  • Conduct inter-company reconciliations periodically.
  • Manage Fixed Deposits and ensure timely renewals.
  • Ensure timely closure of Statutory Audit, CAG Audit, and Internal Audit.
  • Process rental payments as per agreements.
  • Process service delivery invoices as per SLAs with stakeholders.
  • Handle vendor invoices and ensure timely disbursement of payments.
  • Act as custodian of Bank Guarantees/EMDs deposited by vendors.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS transition and accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of Indian statutory compliances.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
