Senior Manager (Accounts & Tax)

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in the accounting package as per IGAAP and Ind AS standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring timely closure of books and monthly financial closing activities. - Performing ledger reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial data. - Preparing financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow along with working papers and schedules. - Maintaining proper record-keeping for all accounting transactions. - Supporting in Monthly MIS preparation and reporting. - Handling periodic reporting requirements of the parent entity. - Reconciling books vs statutory returns on a regular basis. - Performing daily reconciliation of bank and office imprest accounts. - Supporting the implementation of internal controls and new financial processes. - Coordinating with external consultants to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Preparing periodic reports for management and supporting in investor reporting. - Conducting inter-company reconciliations periodically. - Managing Fixed Deposits and ensuring timely renewals. - Ensuring timely closure of Statutory Audit, CAG Audit, and Internal Audit. - Processing service delivery invoices as per SLAs with stakeholders. - Acting as a custodian of Bank Guarantees/EMDs deposited by vendors. - Performing any other duties or projects as assigned by management. You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this role: - Qualified Chartered Accountant - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. - Strong knowledge of Ind AS transition and accounting. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.). - Excellent understanding of Indian statutory compliances. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.,
