Role Overview:

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Draft n Craft, you will lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning solutions tailored for the legal services industry. You will play a pivotal role in transforming legal workflows through intelligent automation, NLP, and GenAI technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable ML/AI solutions aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and manage a team of ML engineers and data scientists to deliver high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with legal experts and software engineers to identify AI opportunities and define technical roadmaps.

Model Development & Deployment

• Build and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines including data ingestion, pre-processing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop production-ready models for NLP, document classification, summarization, and entity extraction.
• Apply transfer learning and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, etc.) for legal domain-specific tasks.

Data Engineering & Feature Engineering

• Design robust ETL workflows to process structured and unstructured legal data.
• Implement advanced feature extraction and selection techniques to improve model performance.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with legal standards.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Define and track key performance metrics for deployed models.
• Continuously improve model accuracy, latency, and scalability through experimentation and feedback loops.

Integration & Collaboration

• Integrate ML models into existing software platforms and internal workflows.
• Work closely with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
• Document processes, decisions, and outcomes for transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 6+ years of total experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years of experience in ML/AI engineering, preferably in NLP or legal tech.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipeline tools.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, and neural network architecture.
• Experience deploying models to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
