Senior Logistics Executive

As a Senior Logistics Executive at our company in Mumbai, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and vendor management. Your role will involve ensuring the cost-effective, timely, and compliant movement of goods while leading operational efficiency initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing daily logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely dispatch and delivery, coordinating with transporters, 3PL partners, and internal teams to manage logistics flow, monitoring inventory levels, and effectively managing warehouse operations. You will also be expected to analyze logistics performance, implement process improvements, ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations, prepare MIS reports, support audits related to logistics and supply chain, and lead and mentor junior logistics staff as required. To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate/postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/logistics systems (such as SAP, TMS, WMS), strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and provident fund.
