Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services using modern Java technologies. What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Spring Security, including custom filters and role-based access control.
• Apply functional and reactive programming paradigms to build scalable and responsive services.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs; experience with gRPC is a plus.
• Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code using design patterns like Builder, Factory, and Strategy.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Monitor and debug applications using Google Cloud Logging and Monitoring tools.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases through indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues using observability tools.
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in multithreading, concurrent programming, and reactive programming.
• Deep expertise in Spring Security and secure application development.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with gRPC is a plus.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Gradle for multi-module project setup and dependency management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and application security.
• Experience using observability tools for production monitoring and troubleshooting.
