About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Java Developer

with strong experience in Java EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The role requires expertise in build automation, CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools, and unit testing to ensure robust and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java EE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs following best practices and security standards.
• Implement business logic, data integration workflows, and modular components.
  

Code Quality & DevOps

• Use Maven for project build, dependency management, and modular packaging.
• Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through SonarQube, static analysis, and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing using JUnit/TestNG and maintain high test coverage.
  

Database & Integration

• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) using Hibernate/JPA for ORM mapping.
• Optimize SQL queries, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and manage transactions.
• Integrate applications with external services, APIs, and internal systems.
  

Agile Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in backend application development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Java EE
• Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Hibernate / JPA
• REST API design & implementation
• Experience with DevOps and build tools:
• Maven, Jenkins
• SonarQube (code quality)
• Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and microservices concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with API gateways, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
