Senior Interior Designer

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

·  Lead the design development of multiple interior design projects, from concept to installation.

·  Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, vision, and requirements to deliver designs that meet their objectives.

· Prepare mood boards, color schemes, layouts, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.

·   Develop and manage design presentations, including sketches, plans, and material selections.

·   Oversee the selection of furniture, finishes, fixtures, and other design elements.

·   Ensure that design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with project budgets and timelines.

·   Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support on design decisions and project execution.

·   Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction and installation process.

·    Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

·    Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process.

Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

·    Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.

·    Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design styles and completed projects.

·    Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and other industry-standard tools.

·    Exceptional spatial awareness and understanding of architectural plans and drawings.

·     Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

·     Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·     Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

·    Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects.

·    Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp)

·    Leadership and team management experience.
