Senior Interior Designer

Position Title: Senior Interior Designer Department: Design / Architecture Location: Kondapur, Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Design Team Lead / Design Manager Position Summary The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for leading the design process from concept development through project completion. This role involves managing design teams, collaborating with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all design solutions meet the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and quality. The ideal candidate will bring strong design vision, technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding interior environments. Key Responsibilities Design & Project Development Lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring design intent and quality standards are consistently achieved. Develop creative design concepts, space planning, material palettes, and mood boards. Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and specifications. Review and approve design documentation including layouts, 3D renderings, and construction drawings. Project Management Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of design intent. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and create site reports. Manage procurement of materials, furniture, and finishes. Client Interaction Lead client meetings to understand requirements, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Team Leadership Mentor junior designers and provide guidance in design development, drafting, and detailing. Review team work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design standards. Foster a collaborative, creative, and productive work environment. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field. 5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale residential/commercial/hospitality projects (customize as needed). Technical Skills Proficiency in SketchUp Layout, SketchUp Enscape and Power point Presentation , Excel or other relevant design software. Strong understanding of materials, FF&E specifications, building codes, and construction methods. Experience with project management tools and documentation standards. Soft Skills Excellent design sensibility and attention to detail. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines. Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Additional Requirements Portfolio showcasing a range of completed interior design projects. Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits when required.
