Senior GRC Consultant

.This role offers an exciting opportunity for a compliance and risk management professional to provide strategic guidance on governance, risk, and regulatory compliance frameworks. The Senior GRC Consultant will lead enterprise-wide risk assessments, develop policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to AML/CFT regulations, with a focus on UAE compliance standards. You will advise on risk management initiatives, perform audits, and provide actionable insights to strengthen internal controls. This position combines analytical rigor with hands-on advisory work, allowing you to influence compliance practices and enhance operational resilience. Collaboration with stakeholders and the preparation of detailed reports and presentations are key elements of the role, ensuring a measurable impact on organizational compliance and risk posture.
Accountabilities
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments (EWRA) and identify gaps in controls and compliance.
- Develop, review, and implement company policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Lead compliance and risk management initiatives, including AML/CFT audits and assessments.
- Perform regulatory research, gap analysis, and reviews to ensure adherence to UAE and international standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support clients with advisory services on compliance frameworks and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management.
- Previous work experience in the UAE is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of UAE AML/CFT regulations, FATF guidelines, and risk management frameworks.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CAMS, CCEP, CRMA, ISO 31000, or other compliance/risk certifications are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex compliance concepts clearly to stakeholders.
