About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant with expertise

in Advanced Planning Systems (APS) to lead and support planning transformation

initiatives. The candidate should have deep domain knowledge in demand

planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory optimization,

ideally within manufacturing or supply chain-intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead the design, implementation, and support of APS modules for demand,

supply, and production planning.

 Engage with business stakeholders to gather planning requirements and

translate them into system functionalities.

 Configure APS systems to support:

o Demand Planning & Forecasting

o Supply Network Planning

o Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling

o Inventory Optimization

 Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing,

procurement, logistics, and IT.

 Integrate APS solutions with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

 Conduct UAT, prepare training materials, and support end-user adoption.

 Support performance tuning, exception management, and planning parameter

optimization.

 Monitor KPIs and planning outputs to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 8–12 years of functional consulting experience in Advanced Planning

Systems.

 Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools:

o SAP APO/IBP

o Oracle ASCP/Cloud SCM

o Kinaxis RapidResponse

o Blue Yonder (JDA)

o OMP, Anaplan, or similar APS tools.

 Solid understanding of:

o Demand forecasting techniques

o Supply chain modeling

o Capacity planning and constraint-based scheduling

o Master planning and material requirement planning (MRP)

 Strong documentation, business process mapping, and stakeholder

management skills.

 Ability to lead cross-functional planning workshops and system demos.

Preferred Qualifications:

 APS/ERP tool certifications (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle SCM Cloud, Kinaxis, Blue

Yonder).

 Experience in discrete or process manufacturing industries.

 Familiarity with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and IBP (Integrated

Business Planning) processes.

 Knowledge of data integration tools and experience working with large data

sets.
