About the Role

Frontend Engineer

own custom charting library

deep, performance-sensitive engineering challenge

What You'll Work On

Extend and maintain our
custom-built charting library
Build and optimize real-time data visualizations (candlesticks, tooltips, indicators)
Integrate filters, screeners, and custom rule-based views into the frontend
Optimize rendering and user interactions (zoom, drag, hover, snap-to-cursor, etc.)
Collaborate with backend and design teams to refine user workflows

Tech Stack

Framework:
Next.js (React)
Charting:
Custom in-house library (canvas or WebGL based)
Data:
WebSocket + REST APIs
State:
Zustand / Redux (performance tuned)
Other:
TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, custom components

Requirements

3+ years frontend engineering experience
Expertise in
React/Next.js
and component-based architecture
Solid understanding of
canvas/WebGL rendering
, real-time data flows, and performance optimization
Experience working with complex UI logic and custom visualization tools
Proven ability to manage UI state and updates under heavy data load

Bonus Points

Experience building or modifying charting libraries
Contributions to data-heavy SaaS or analytics platforms
Interest in tools like TradingView, D3.js, or visualization-heavy products
