What you'll do Identify and record AR/Revenue transactions on a monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with relevant GAAP Prepare and Reconcile customer ledger, general ledger ensuring accounting of collections, invoices and credit notes and other transactions are recorded correctly with accuracy in accordance with accounting policies of the company Monitor daily AR transactions as related to general ledger to ensure validity and accuracy Ensuring Revenue is calculated based on the Customer agreement and business arrangements. Prepare and analyse receivables Ageing report and provide necessary reasoning and comments Pass Revenue entries, Provisional entries and collections entries in ERP and ensure all necessary schedules are prepared for audit purpose Prepare the monthly MIS report for the management Demonstrate knowledge of account receivables and revenue for retail business segment, specially e-commerce business. Prepare monthly account analysis for AR balance sheet and P&L accounts, variance analysis and schedules for book closing. Assist in quarterly review and annual audit with external and internal auditors Maintain documentation for each activity performed to comply with requirements of audit and company process. Identify gaps in process, assist in development and implementation of processes and procedures to bridge the gaps Liaise with other departments, internally or externally in order to ensure correct accounting. Perform other related tasks as assigned. What you'll need: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, General Accounting or a similar field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role Exposure to eCommerce Industry Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable, General Ledger of books of account keeping Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skill You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills and critical mindset. You have strong technical skills in Microsoft / Google Suite You have outstanding communication skills and can drive projects with different teams across the organization, including senior management stakeholder Who will excel?
