Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Associate to lead the financial reporting, statutory compliance, and account finalization functions. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing high-volume transactions, reconciliations, financial statements, and tax filings while continuously improving finance processes and controls.

Location:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Reconcile high volumes of transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and compliance authorities
• File statutory returns including GST, TDS, and Professional Tax
• Own books of accounts and ensure clean audit trails
• Build and manage relationships with external partners (banks, auditors, insurers, vendors)
• Improve financial processes through automation and reporting enhancements
• Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting systems for data management and analysis

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance/accounting within financial services or similar industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally; experience with QuickBooks Online is a strong plus
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting/Finance (B.Com or M.Com)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
