Senior Fashion Merchandiser

As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Collaborating with design, production, and marketing teams, you will create product assortments that meet market demands and quality standards. Additionally, you will identify merchandise suppliers, negotiate pricing, manage inventory levels, and analyze sales data to understand consumer behavior and market trends. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. - Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create product assortments meeting market demands. - Sourcing and Procurement: Identify suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships. - Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock availability. - Market Analysis: Conduct research and analyze sales data to identify trends. - Visual Merchandising: Oversee merchandise presentation in retail stores. - Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior merchandisers for team effectiveness. - Financial Planning: Develop budgets related to merchandise purchasing and inventory management. - Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. - Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales data, track metrics, and prepare reports for management. Qualifications: - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for visual displays. - Strong customer service skills. - Knowledge of retail math and pricing strategies. - Retail sales experience. - Ability to illustrate product presentations. - Familiarity with market trends and consumer behavior. - Multilingual abilities are a plus. - Knowledge of interior design principles.
