Graphics Designer

As a Graphic Designer, your role is to translate abstract ideas into compelling visual representations that align with client objectives and are visually appealing. You will work on a wide range of projects and media using various software programs to develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals. It is important to obtain input from managers to ensure designs meet organizational standards, brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately. Working independently and cooperatively with the marketing team is essential to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload. Your responsibilities will include collaborating, brainstorming, and strategizing with multiple teams or clients on various materials such as web pages, presentations, collateral, signage, communications, newsletters, and marketing materials. Additionally, you will need to translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity, develop concepts by hand or with software, and manage the design and uploading process for all project materials. Trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets are key when designing and executing specific classifications. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials - Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity - Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content - Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials - Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications Qualifications Required: - Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills - Five or more years of experience with design software (Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Desire to continue building skill set with education and training The company prefers candidates with three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or related discipline, working knowledge of CSS 3, HTML 5, JavaScript, and experience with WordPress and content management systems.
