Role And Responsibilities:


Position: Senior Factory Head


Senior Factory Head


Age Requirement:38–45 years


Languages: Hindi & English (mandatory)


Educational Qualification:

  • B.Tech / B.E./ B.Sc.

    in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Post-Graduate Qualification (is a plus):

  • MBA/CFA

    (Operations/Industrial Management).


Professional Experience:

  • Strong background in

    manufacturing operations

  • Preferred:

    Experience in

    steel fabrication

    ,

    steel components

    , or

    industrial machinery


Accommodation:

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

1. Overall Factory Leadership

  • Full responsibility for end-to-end factory operations—from

    Production Planning & Control (PPC)

    to

    final dispatch and supply

    .
  • Ensuring smooth coordination and workflow across all levels of the factory.

2. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Acting as the central link between

    Sales, Design, Manufacturing, QC, Store, Purchase, and Dispatch

    .
  • Conducting daily/weekly review meetings with all HODs to ensure:
  • Timely dispatches
  • Zero short shipments
  • Maximum client satisfaction
  • On-time project completion

3. Client Interaction

  • Joining client calls/VC meetings to resolve dispatch or production-related issues.
  • Ensuring transparent communication and timely problem resolution.

4. Machine Maintenance & Documentation

  • Overseeing preventive maintenance and AMC for all machines.
  • Maintaining complete documentation for servicing, uptime, calibration, and audits.

5. SOP Creation & Process Optimization (Most Important)

  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring

    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    for:
  • Store & inventory
  • Purchase workflows
  • Manufacturing of all products
  • QC processes
  • Client documentation
  • Dispatch & packing procedures
  • Ensuring adherence, periodic updating, and team training for all SOPs.

6. Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement (Most Important)

  • Developing strategies to reduce:
  • Process cost
  • Salary overheads (optimization, not reduction without strategy)
  • Material scrap and wastage
  • Implementing cost-monitoring dashboards and reporting to COO.

7. Daily Factory Monitoring

  • Daily walk-throughs of production areas to:
  • Maintain

    5S standards

  • Ensure cleanliness and organized workflow
  • Monitor material handling and storage
  • Control scrap generation
  • Check store accuracy and FIFO adherence

8. Team Leadership

  • Managing a workforce of

    300+ team members

    , with direct reporting to the

    COO

    .
  • Ensuring discipline, worker safety, continuous skill development, and maintaining high team morale.
