About The Role
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency support, and ensuring high equipment availability at customer sites.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Troubleshooting
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical/mechanical faults and malfunctions.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain equipment in a safe, reliable, and compliant condition.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks, breakdowns, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare performance and condition reports for systems and equipment.
- Document issues and recommend corrective actions for improvement.
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate and communicate with customers and internal teams on maintenance updates, issues, and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance maintenance processes and system performance.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
- Complete maintenance & breakdown visits within SLA.
- Take over projects: inspect new installations, raise open points, and ensure closure.
- Execute upgrade/rebuild work at customer sites.
- Provide operational and maintenance training to end users.
- Maintain/improve system availability.
- Ensure availability and replenishment of critical spare parts with customers.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, electrical drawings, and manuals.
- Basic knowledge of switchgear components, control panels, and power distribution panels.
- Troubleshooting experience with industrial communication systems (Profibus, Profinet, AS-I, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with VFDs, encoders, PLCs, and related equipment.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings, and handle emergency calls.
Requisite Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering
Requisite Experience
Essential
- Required: 2–3 years (Electro-Mechanical Maintenance) OR Minimum 1 year in Automation industry
