Job Description – Statutory Compliance & Payroll Executive

Position: Senior Executive – Statutory Compliance & Payroll
Location: Bengaluru
Department: HR & Admin

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage statutory compliance for onland geotechnical projects, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams (procurement, sales, billing) and external clients. The role also includes responsibility for payroll processing, statutory filings, and basic onboarding support.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance

· Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishments, Contract Labour, Gratuity, and other applicable laws.

· Manage project-specific compliance requirements, including mandatory insurance and licenses.

· Liaise with clients for submission of compliance documents and respond to statutory audits/inspections.

· Maintain and update compliance trackers and ensure timely renewals.

Payroll Management

· Process monthly payroll in coordination with HR and Finance.

· Handle salary structure, deductions, reimbursements, overtime, and leave impacts.

· Ensure accurate statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, LWF, TDS, etc.) and timely payments to respective authorities.

· Generate and share payslips, payroll reports, and compliance reports.

Coordination & Documentation

· Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Billing teams for client/project compliance deliverables.

· Prepare and submit client compliance reports as per contractual requirements.

· Support HR team with onboarding activities including document collection, verification, and statutory registrations.

· Maintain accurate employee master data for compliance and payroll.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in commerce / HR / Law or equivalent.

· 4–8 years of experience in statutory compliance, payroll, and HR operations (preferably in EPC, Infra, or Geotech sector).

· Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory filings, and payroll software.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and HR/payroll systems.

· Strong coordination and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
