Job Description

As an Assistant Facility Manager at JLL, you'll be an integral part of ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of assigned facilities. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams, embracing innovative approaches, and contributing to the success of our clients while advancing your own career in a supportive and inclusive work environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in managing facility operations such as maintenance, security, and cleaning services. You'll coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project completion, monitor and maintain building systems, conduct regular facility inspections, and address tenant requests and complaints promptly. Additionally, you will support the development of facility policies and procedures, assist in budget preparation, and track expenses for the facilities you manage. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in facility management or a related role. Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential qualifications. Preferred qualifications include experience with sustainability initiatives, knowledge of local building codes and regulations, familiarity with project management methodologies, experience in customer service-oriented roles, and a demonstrated ability to innovate and improve processes.
