Senior Executive Procurement

Role Overview: As a Senior Executive - Procurement at Godrej Foods Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing suppliers for raw materials and packaging, developing cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensuring supplier compliance, and leading sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include tracking supplier performance, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for raw materials and packaging; negotiate contracts and ensure compliance. - Develop cost-effective, reliable, and innovative category strategies. - Track supplier KPIs, lead audits, and ensure regulatory and policy adherence. - Analyze spend and trends; build dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to support decisions. - Integrate ESG goals into procurement; assess suppliers on sustainability metrics and lead improvement initiatives. - Align with QA, Production, Finance, and Marketing to ensure smooth operations. - Identify risks, monitor markets, and develop mitigation and negotiation strategies. - Use ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, Ariba) to automate and enhance procurement efficiency. Qualification Required: - MBA in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields. - Certifications: Analytics certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or sustainability-focused credentials. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Food Processing or FMCG industry. - Exposure to ESG/ sustainable projects is a plus. - Strong negotiation, analytics, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba). - Knowledge of ESG, sustainable, and ethical sourcing practices. - Effective communicator with stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Experience in hardware, engineering items, electrical items, and machine procurement, specifically related to food production equipment for factories. - CAPEX procurement experience.
