ConfirmTkt and AbhiBus became a part of ixigo in 2021. ixigo is headquartered in Gurugram with offices in Bangalore (ConfirmTkt) and Hyderabad (AbhiBus). The ixigo, ConfirmTkt and AbhiBus apps allow travellers to book train tickets, flight tickets, bus tickets, hotels, cabs and provide travel utility tools and services developed using in-house proprietary algorithms and crowd-sourced information. In 2022, as per data.ai, ixigo was featured in the Top 10 most downloaded travel apps worldwide


We are looking for a creative, analytical, and intuitive person with a strong understanding of driving user growth via channels like email, WhatsApp, sms and push notifications. Work on sales events & campaigns to drive booking & revenue growth using industry-leading marketing technology platforms


Roles & Responsilities

  • Develop personalized communication strategy for ixigo using email, sms, WhatsApp, app notifications etc.
  • Configure platform & partner discounts & vouchers.
  • Manage banners across apps & website for different offers & sale events.
  • Launch promotional offers and events to attract new customers.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams (design, content, ad ops, automation) on campaign requirements, campaign strategy, and how to best execute campaigns. Build a framework for targeting, acquiring, educating and nurturing the user base
  • Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for all customer communications.
  • Identify, acquire, and integrate new tools and technologies for marketing automation
  • Support weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on Email, Site content, SMS and Push performance metrics, analyzing results and identifying opportunities to increase engagement & revenue.


Qualifications

Must Have

  • Strong understanding of mobile apps and user behavior on smartphones/internet
  • Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation tools like Clevertap with in-depth knowledge of engagement channels like Email, Push, SMS & Whatsapp.
  • Ability to use photoshop or basic image editing tools is another big plus.
  • A quidnunc when it comes to news about tech/mar-tech/apps/startups.
  • An eye for detail along with high benchmarks for quality.


Required Skill sets

  • 2-4 years experience in omni-channel marketing management
  • Prior experience with CRM and CLM tools like WebEngage, MoEngage and CleverTap is a must have.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is mandatory
  • Able to fit in well within an informal startup environment and to provide hands-on management.
  • High energy level and untiring commitment to drive oneself & the team towards goals.
  • Great people skills!
