Job overview and responsibilities
The qualified candidate will perform engineering, configuration and other administration activities for IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE). The candidate will work as a part of the Middleware Engineering team and need have willingness to learn & support Solace Messaging.
This candidate will be required to work well in a team environment. He/she must possess excellent communication skills and should be able to work in a collaborative environment with ease.
The candidate will also be responsible for 24x7 on-call support on rotation weekly basis.
The candidate must have problem-solving ability to triage and perform root cause analysis Strong working knowledge (Minimum 3 to 4 Years) in one or more of the following technology areas:
- Installation and upgrading of IBM ACE on Linux environment.
- Deployment, administration and support of ACE applications.
- Installation and upgrading MQ firmware on Appliances.
- Creating MQ queue manager, queues, channels, topics and subscriptions.
- Conduct failover testing and validate post upgrades for ACE applications & MQ queue managers.
- Provide level 3 support including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Strong knowledge of scripting using Korn Shell Scripts, Perl etc. Platform RedHat Linux. Research on product capabilities and conduct POCs for new products/features.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

5 Years of related experience

Experience in WebSphere Application Server / IBM MQ and/or IBM ODM administration, performance tuning, monitoring and implementation of best practices including high availability.

Experience in performing version upgrades, patching & migration
- Strong experience in IBM MQ 9.x on Linux and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) 12.x
- Strong experience in Linux Redhat.

Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
