Job Description

Role Overview: As a skilled Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex engineering analyses and developing deliverables within the discipline. You will apply standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and cost estimating, understand contract requirements and scope, and coordinate technical issues within the discipline and with other departments. Your role will involve leading a group of engineers and/or designers, reviewing higher-tier drawings, reports, and calculations, and analyzing and understanding clients" requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Perform complex engineering analyses and develop complex deliverables within the discipline - Apply standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and cost estimating - Coordinate technical issues within the discipline, with other disciplines, and with engineering staff - Lead a group of engineers and/or designers within the discipline - Review and lead the production of higher-tier drawings, reports, and calculations - Analyze and understand clients" requirements and standards - Review specifications/data sheets for main power electrical equipment in substations - Conduct earthing system and lightning protection calculations - Review insulation coordination and partial discharge corona studies - Lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers - Prepare and present reports for formal studies - Track the schedule of activities and present results to different parties - Keep the WSP Lead Engineer and Project Manager informed of technical activities, staffing, budgets, and schedules - Lead subordinates in continuous improvement in design and project execution - Promote team behavior by sharing information and knowledge without reservation - Make timely decisions to maintain team progress Qualifications: - Recognized degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university - Specialized courses in Electrical discipline - Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering - 8 to 14 years of experience in Electrical Engineering (Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
