Position Title: Senior Engineer(Electrical- Line Manager)

Reporting to:Site In charge/ Project Director

Work Location:Site (PAN India)

Employment Type:Permanent

Qualification:BE/B. Tech in Electrical.

Experience Level:5-8 years’ experience within the Solar Industry

Key Skill Sets:Proficiency in activities mentioned in Key Responsibilities.

Job description:

The principal responsibilities essentially include:

To understand the project drawings, SLDs, Installation designs aspect of primary equipment such as transformer, Circuit Breakers, CT, CVT, PT, LA, HT/C&R panel of substation and civil aspects.

Execution knowledge of AC DC works of Solar Projects.

To ensure the construction work as per approved design and drawing for all phases of engineering construction relating to equipment erection and testing.

Plan and co-ordinate all aspects of the construction process with the contractors.

Perform all daily inspections and test of the scope to achieve the quality of construction indicated in the drawings and specifications for all works performed by the contractor.

Cary out inspection for erection methodology and testing for all electrical equipment and ensures construction activity at the site are as per approved method statement and Field quality (FQP) and testing plan.

To ensure the Erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment as per approved FQP or OEM installation and testing guidelines.

Ensure HSE aspects of the project.

Ensure subcontractor performance to comply with contract requirements and issue periodic alerts to contractors to ensure the construction quality of the project.

 Review the project quality reports and punch list with appropriate mitigation techniques to get the compliance report from contractor for smooth handover of the project.

Providing technical guidance to contractors whenever required for re-solving various complications of site with the close interaction with HO team.

To ensure the proper co-ordination with contractors for submission of project deliverable on time.

Reconciliation of all supply and service scope of contractor and closing of contract

Candidate Specification:

Strong technical knowledge with clear fundamentals.

Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Strong management capabilities.

Competent user of main Microsoft packages.

Good team player.

Desirable criteria:

Previous experience working in Solar Industry.

Willingness to travel for short-term or long-term project specific responsibilities within PAN India.
