Role Sum yWe are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to lead one of our flagship, high-growth client engagements in the product engineering space
The role demands a unique balance ofstrategic leadership, technical depth, and customer partnership You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across complex software development, QA, automation, and DevOps programs The ideal candi comes from asoftware development background, with the ability to delegate effectively while also being capable ofdeep-diving into technical discussions when required This role is critical in scaling the account to its growth potential by ensuring delivery excellence, building trusted senior-level client relationships, and fostering a high-performance culture across engineering teams Preferred location: Pune/BengaluruKey Responsibilities1 Delivery & Program Management Own the complete delivery lifecycle across multiple programs, ensuring high-quality, predictable outcomes Ensure strict alignment with the customer s established delivery frameworks and processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), while identifying opportunities for incremental improvements and efficiency gains Define and track roadmaps, scope, schedules, and resource allocations Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers with minimal customer impact Define and itor KPIs and SLAs to ensure consistent delivery performance 2 Client Relationship Management Serve as the pri y delivery leader for client stakeholders across engineering and management levels Build trust with senior client executives while enabling technical discussions at the appropriate levels Balance engagement by delegating day-to-day technical discussions while focusing on senior-level relationship management and account growth Lead steering committees, business reviews, and governance forums 3 Technical Leadership & Team Enablement Leverage your development background to provide credibility and guidance when technical deep-dives are required Partner with architects, engineering managers, and leads to ensure scalable and future-ready solutions Foster a culture of ownership, delegation, and continuous improvement Support talent growth through mentoring, performance management, and skill development initiatives 4 Solutioning & Growth Enablement Collaborate with presales and solution architects to shape proposals, solution designs, and value-add opportunities Understand client business drivers and translate them into in ative, technology-driven solutions Drive expansion opportunities within the account by aligning delivery outcomes with customer growth objectives 5 Operational & Financial Oversight Manage delivery budgets, forecasts, and utilization to ensure profitability Ensure adherence to contracts, compliance, and internal quality standards Work closely with account leadership to shape long-term strategy for the engagement Required Qualifications & Experience 15+ years of experience in IT services/product engineering, with at least 7+ years in delivery leadership roles Prior hands-on background in software development or engineering before moving into management Strong understanding of modern technology stacks and engineering domains, such as: Software Development & QA: Strong grasp of SDLC, test automation, and quality engineering Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with networking, storage, cloud-native solutions AI/ML & Automation: Awareness of AI/ML lifecycle and automation-driven solutions DevOps: Experience with CI/CD, containers, and modern DevOps practices Proven track record managing strategic, high-growth accounts and delivering value to enterprise clients Deep expertise in Agile delivery frameworks and tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, or similar Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or CSM Experience in solution engineering or presales in addition to delivery managementDisclaimer: The job location mentioned in this description is based on publicly available information or company headquarters.
