Senior Development Manager- JAVA

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers and coordinate project tasks and deliverables.
• Hands-on coding and implementation of Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Hibernate.
• Design and develop RESTful services, ensuring scalability and high performance.
• Work with relational databases (Oracle), write complex SQL queries, and manage database schemas and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
• Mentor and guide team members in technical skills, project development, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
• Contribute to project planning and estimation, managing resources and timelines efficiently.
• Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of developed applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently and implement solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies and apply them to improve team processes and software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, including expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate and ORM frameworks.
• Proficient in Oracle database management and writing complex SQL queries.
• Proven experience with RESTful API development.
• Excellent understanding of software engineering principles and agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading development teams and managing projects.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and drive technical solutions in a team setting.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
