What You’ll Do

Package & Deployment

• Build reusable Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment templates.
• Develop and manage containerized deployments across Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift).
• Ensure Kubernetes clusters follow industry best practices and remain secure, scalable, and optimized.
  

Cloud & SaaS Enablement

• Design and manage single-tenant and multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Deploy and optimize workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Drive cost optimization through efficient resource allocation, autoscaling, and monitoring.
  

Developer Environments & Automation

• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management for Dev, QA, and UAT environments.
• Improve engineering workflows to enhance productivity and platform reliability.
  

Technical Ownership & Leadership

• Own DevOps pipelines, infrastructure design, automation, and technical implementations.
• (Optional) Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 DevOps engineers, depending on experience.
• Build DevOps systems, frameworks, and automation from scratch for product environments.
  

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger.
• Integrate monitoring and alerting into CI/CD for proactive issue detection.
  

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Expert-level Kubernetes & Helm skills (your strongest area).
• Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git workflows.
• Hands-on deployment experience in AWS / Azure / GCP / OpenShift.
• Strong scripting ability (Shell / Python / Groovy).
• Practical IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native security:
• Container image hardening
• RBAC
• Secrets management
• Compliance frameworks (OPA, CIS Benchmarks, SOC2, etc.)
• Experience implementing observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry.
  

Bonus Points

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or IaC certifications.
• GitOps experience (Argo CD, Flux).
• Experience with virtual Kubernetes clusters (KinD).
• Understanding of secure multi-tenant architectures.
• Java or Python development background.
• Proven experience in cloud cost optimization.
