Senior Devops Engineer (GCP/AWS ) We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves building and supporting our virtual and physical technical infrastructures, which are critical to our industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. You'll work on automated pipelines for software deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our infrastructure operations are efficient and reliable. Location: Chennai / Remote Experience : 5 years and Above Responsibilities: Automating SaaS workloads across a variety of cloud providers Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management. Test and improve implemented designs. Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning. Handle infrastructure & code deployments in all environments Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve in terms of performance and cost. Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery. Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards. Manage CI and CD tools Document and design processes; update existing processes. Improve infrastructure and application deployment. Work with InfoSec to harden production platforms. Experience in Service Mesh Tools for Services and Microservices deployments and managing traffic flow between multiple microservices using proxy. Service mesh for routing, load balancing, service discovery, mTLS, circuit breaking, rate limiting etc. Experience in Networking using various protocols like BGP, TCP, policy based routing for communication between Autonomous Systems. Advanced expertise in Linux administration and service management. Virtualization, IoT devices network configuration and management, IoT containerization, Dockerizing, Kubernetes. Strong expertise in GCP. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Golang frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Beego. Experience in managing Kubernetes/Docker clusters Experience with cloud deployment environments such as GCP/AWS/etc. Experience with git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, etc. Experience with automation/configuration management. Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. Experience in microservice deployment and REST-APIs. A strong understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Bash). Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies. Ability to adapt to changing environments. Experience in SQL/NOSQL is desired. Experience working on datacentre to cloud migrations is beneficial. Experience with GitOps tooling (FluxCD, ArgoCD, JenkinsX) is desirable.
