Senior DevOps Engineer

Apptware is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to leverage their expert knowledge of building and

operating cloud-native applications to deliver critical features across Apptware’s distributed data platform

This role interacts closely with our globally dispersed product and engineering team, creating an

immersive experience for Apptware’s customers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Terraform, Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, along with proven experience in leading a

DevOps team and driving automation, scalability, and security across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing

infrastructure solutions.

● Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform across Azure and

AWS environments.

● Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.

● Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.

● Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and

system reliability.

● Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.

● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.

● Drive automation and best practices in cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and

release processes.

● Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and governance in cloud environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work

experience).

● 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.

● Strong expertise in Terraform (infrastructure as code).

● Solid experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

● Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure

DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).

● Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

● Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack,

CloudWatch).

● Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

● Good understanding of networking, security, and system administration.

● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
