Role Summary

The Senior SAP EWM ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions within SAP Retail applications. The role requires deep expertise in SAP EWM and exposure to other modules such as SD, MM, FI, and HCM.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to discover, design, and develop SAP EWM ABAP solutions.
• Lead development, testing, and delivery of custom programs and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and naming conventions.
• Support testing and validation to ensure development requirements are met.
• Analyze high-level business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes.
• Participate in quality management tasks including code reviews, SQL trace, version and transport management.
• Work within Scrum or DevOps Agile frameworks.
• Guide and support other team members in cross-functional collaboration.

Technical Competencies

• Expert in WRICEF objects (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Specialized in:
• EWM RF Screen development
• Printer determination for custom action profiles
• TU loading complete check
• Put-away process
• Recounting inventory
• HU label generation
• Proficient with development tools: ABAP Workbench, Eclipse ADT, HANA Studio.

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP ABAP certification preferred.

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong exposure to SAP EWM and other modules (SD/MM/FI/HCM).

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
