Senior Design Engineer (RCC/Steel Structure)

Role Description

This is full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for civil engineering design and documentation for RCC, steel structures, and substation infrastructure (up to 220 kV). The role involves gathering project technical inputs, preparing and revising design & drawing documents (MCR/ICR, DBR, calculations), studying GTPs and datasheets, and performing structural modelling and validation using STAAD Pro and AutoCAD. The position also includes managing civil submissions, coordinating with internal AC/DC teams, supporting drafting deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and maintaining quality, timelines, and client coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification

• Strong expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design, with excellent problem-solving and 

analytical capabilities.

• Proficiency in Civil and Structural Engineering practices, particularly for GSS / PSS / USS / Solar infrastructure projects.

• Advanced working knowledge of CAD and structural design tools, including AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, and Tekla.

• Demonstrated ability to manage, execute, and deliver complex engineering projects efficiently and within defined timelines.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations, especially for RCC and steel structure design.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Prior experience in renewable energy projects is considered an added advantage.
