Role Description

Design Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role located in Raisinghnagar for a Senior Design Engineer. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing agricultural machinery. Tasks include creating product designs, conducting detailed technical analyses, working with CAD software to model components, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and overseeing the product development lifecycle to ensure quality and functionality. This role requires a high level of expertise and leadership in engineering design processes.

• Create

  3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings

  using SolidWorks
• Develop designs from

  concept to manufacturing stage

• Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation

• Modify and optimize existing designs for cost, strength, and manufacturability

• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and tolerances

• Support prototype development and testing

• Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing

• Fluent in SolidWorks

  (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, Weldments)
• Strong understanding of

  manufacturing processes

  (machining, fabrication, casting, etc.)
• Knowledge of

  GD&T and engineering drawings

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Experience with

  agricultural machinery / industrial equipment

• Knowledge of

  AutoCAD / Creo / Fusion 360

• Exposure to

  DFMEA, tolerance stack-up, cost optimization

• Hands-on shop-floor or production experience
