Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Delivery Manager with 15+ years of proven success in leading complex technology programs across multiple accounts and industries. This role demands a strong balance of delivery oversight, client engagement, technical leadership, and cross-functional team management. The ideal candidate will be capable of driving large-scale initiatives from inception to completion, while serving as both a trusted advisor to the client and a thought partner in shaping innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Delivery Oversight • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream IT projects across multiple clients or portfolios. • Ensure successful execution against scope, budget, timeline, and quality metrics. • Implement and optimize Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models with metrics-based governance. • Establish project controls, status tracking, and performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Technical & Strategic Leadership • Provide high-level architectural and technical guidance to engineering and project teams. • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on client business context and technology roadmap. • Collaborate with architects and product leads to validate solutions against evolving client needs. • Participate in innovation and ideation with client stakeholders to shape scalable, highimpact solutions. Team & Resource Management • Lead multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, QA, BAs, and PMs across geographies. • Oversee performance management, career development, and team engagement strategies. • Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and bench optimization for project continuity. • Resolve delivery challenges and unblock teams as needed. Client Engagement & Relationship Management • Serve as the primary delivery interface with senior client stakeholders. • Conduct regular program reviews, steering committee updates, and check-ins. • Understand project scope deeply and ensure consistent progress communication to clients. • Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with sales/account teams and contribute to proposals. Risk & Escalation Management • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; develop mitigation and contingency plans. • Own and drive resolution for critical issues, escalations, and delivery bottlenecks. • Maintain alignment across internal and external stakeholders. Estimation & Planning Support • Lead effort estimation, resource planning, and budget forecasting for new and ongoing engagements. • Validate estimates and timelines during pre-sales and program initiation phases. Qualifications: • 15+ years of experience in IT delivery, including at least 5 years in a leadership or multiaccount oversight role. • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies. • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-team programs with high customer satisfaction. • Strong technical acumen across software engineering, systems integration, and digital transformation. • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing presentation skills. • Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and team capacity planning. • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Experience: • Experience in consulting or working with global delivery teams. • Domain knowledge in [insert relevant domains: e.g., fintech, healthcare, SaaS, enterprise IT]. • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant certifications are a plus
