Location:

India,PuneMonitor and analyze database performance and ensure effective and efficient utilization of database systems/processesDevelop and debug stored procedures, views, etc.Expertise with analyzing long running queries (SQL and NoSQL) and make recommendations on rewriting queries, indexes, statistics and infrastructure.Expertise in reviewing execution plans and pinning the efficient execution plan, if needed during high priority incidents.Write up documentation and share knowledge with other Engineering stakeholdersContinuously improve how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional teamYou will be part of the team having on-call duties and respond to high priority incident pager“

Candidate needs to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm cst i.e. 6 PM to 3:30 AM IST during DST and needs to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm i.e. 7 PM to 4:30 AM IST during DST savings.

Must Have Skills

7+ years of practical experience building and supporting Azure SQL databases and NoSQL databases.Subject matter expert on performance tuning for SQL and NoSQL queries.Exposure to Microservices architectureProven track record of collaborating with development teams.Excellent English language communication skills.

Nice To Have Skills

Exposure of working on multi-tenant systems.Good exposure to Kafka or equivalent streaming servicesExperience of building data aggregation or reporting service.Experience of data migration projects, requiring backfilling large amounts of data.Experience with scripting languagesExposure to terraformExposure to the logistics industry
